[:en]Speed Geeking is an awesome way to be introduced to a lot of great ideas in a short amount of time. It’s also a fantastic way to dip your toes into the waters of presenting and sharing with your colleagues!

The idea of Speed Geeking is this:

• The presenters are setup around the room and the participants are in small groups (5 – 7 people per group works best), one group per presenter.
• When it begins, the presenter has only 6 or 7 minutes to present one idea and to answer any questions.
• When the facilitator signals time, the groups rotate to the next presenter.
• When all groups have seen every presenter that round of Speed Geeking is complete!

At VTC 2017, Speed Geeking will be on the first day right before any of the workshop sessions. It allows delegates to get a snapshot of some of the workshops sessions so they can  prioritize which workshops they want to attend and dive deeper into their learning.

[:vi]Speed Geeking là một cách rất hay để được giới thiệu nhiều ý tưởng trong một thời gian ngắn. Nó đồng thời cũng là một cách tuyệt vời để các bạn tham gia tích cực vào việc trình bày và chia sẽ với đồng nghiệp!

Ý tưởng chính của Speed Geeking là:

• Những người trình bày sẽ vào trong một phòng theo từng nhóm nhỏ (khoảng 6-7 người một nhóm), mỗi nhóm sẽ có một người trình bày.
• Khi bắt đầu, người thuyết trình sẽ chỉ có khoảng 6-7 phút để trình bày một ý tưởng và trả lời câu hỏi.
• Khi người điều phối ra hiệu, các nhóm sẽ xoay vòng tới người thuyết trình kế tiếp.
• Khi các nhóm đã nghe hết các bài thuyết trình của tất cả những người tham gia trình bày thì vòng Speed Geeking đó sẽ kết thúc.

Ở VTC 2017, Speed Geeking sẽ diễn ra vào ngày đầu tiên ngay trước các phiên Hội thảo. Điều này cho phép người tham gia có được một cái nhìn tổng quát về các phiên hội thảo, để từ đó có thể ưu tiêu những hội thảo nào mình muốn tham dự và đào sâu chuyên môn.
